Rebranding, All Glory to God!

I was ready to let go of my business when my daughter, Ocean, was born. My focus shifted, and all I wanted was to pour my energy into her instead of my clients.

I wanted to let my business fade away quietly…I literally pleaded with God and still carry the hope in my heart that one day, I’ll get to take a break from the business hats I wear and just stay home with Ocean.

But for now, I’m trusting that God has me right where I’m supposed to be. So, I’m choosing to embrace this moment and follow where I believe He’s calling me — and in listening to Him, I’ve found myself in the middle of a full rebrand of my company. It’s taken a lot of time and energy, and since my business was my first “baby,” I’m doing my best to find joy in it again. And honestly, I’ve been able to truly enjoy the creative process of it all.

I’m also incredibly grateful that God has continued to grow my business. While a part of me longs for a slower season at home, I know that right now, having the purpose and balance my business provides, is a gift. I know my ultimate identity is in Christ, and as I steward both the role of mom and business owner, I’m trying to honor Him in it all.

What makes this season even more special is that my hubby is rebranding his business, That Hair Guy, at the same time. He’s moving his salon suite closer to home, and I’ve had the privilege of designing his logo and helping with the entire rebranding process. It’s been exciting, exhausting, and rewarding all at once.

Through it all, I can see God’s hand, drawing us closer — not just in business but in marriage. I truly believe He’s calling us into a deeper union, showing us what it means to work side by side, building something that will honor God together.

Thank you, God, for being the KING of this next chapter. I don’t know exactly where this road leads, but I know who’s leading it. And that’s more than enough.

Stay tuned for my new website – it’s currently being built as you read this! 🙂
